Description
===========

vlc (VideoLAN Client) is a DVD, MPEG and DivX player for Gnome or Gtk+.
It
can play MPEG movies, all existing DVDs with audio channel,
subtitles and angle support, as well as network streams.
Hardware acceleration is available through XVideo or SDL.

Fixes
=====

  This maintenance release is still Gnome-1.4 based.

- various endianness fixes in the decoders
- fix for a hangup in the esd plugin
- AC3/A52 sound quality fixes
