GNOME 2.0 Desktop Snapshot 20020607: "The Release Formerly Known As..."
=======================================================================
Please note that we have delayed the release candidate until next week.
Last Monday, when tarballs were due for this release, there were 9
remaining release critical bugs. The release team decided that this was
not suitable for a release candidate, so it was deferred for a week.
However, the final release date remains unchanged. If all goes to plan,
we'll be signing butts to celebrate the release of the GNOME 2.0.0 Desktop
on June 21st.
The GNOME 2.0 Desktop Snapshot 20020607: "The Release Formerly Known As...",
is ready for your bug-busting and testing pleasure, and available for
immediate download:

The GNOME 2.0 Desktop is a greatly improved user environment for existing
GNOME applications. Enhancements include anti-aliased text and first class
internationalisation support, new accessibility features for disabled users,
and many improvements throughout GNOME's highly regarded user interface.
