Hi,

There's a new GConf release that fixes a symbol collision with
GAL. This screwup on my part caused Evolution to hang on startup,
among other things. Thanks to everyone who reported this bug, several
people independently tracked it down.

GConf is a configuration storage system. You can get this release
from:
 
  ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/stable/sources/GConf

It isn't there yet, the mirror has to sync from the master server.  If
you can't handle disappointment, wait a day and it will be there for
sure.
