xml-i18n-tools 0.8 is released and now available at

ftp://ftp.gnome.og/pub/gnome/stable/sources/xml-i18n-tools/xml-i18n-tools-0.8.tar.gz

This release includes:

* Support for defining custom extract/merge file types (Kenneth)

* Additional test cases (Laszlo)

* Set perl path at package configure time for packages that use
  xml-i18n-tools, not xml-i18n-tools configure time (for the less
  fortunate who don't have perl un /usr/bin)

* xml-i18n-prepare tool for converting .desktop files to .desktop.in
  (Gediminas Paulauskas)

* Build fixes (Robin)

* Many bug fixes (Kenneth, Maciej, Darin)
