Gnome-aRts-0.1.1 Release

This is the initial release of Gnome-aRts which provides GTK+-2.0
based GUI frontends for common aRts features.

gnome-arts-0.1.1 is available for download from:

gnome-arts-0.1.1 also requires arts-0.5.2 which is available from:

  http://www.arts-project.org/download/arts-0.5.2.tar.gz

and pkgconfig-0.5.0 which is available from:

This is a an unstable preview release and should not be used in
production. Only minimal testing has been done, and we expect that
bugs and portability problems remain at this point.

Overview of features in gnome-arts 0.1.1:

* proof-of-concept implementation of GLib main loop
  integration with aRts/MCOP
* provides gartscontrol, a GTK+-2.0 based GUI frontend
  to control artsd parameters. currently supported settings:
* main volume setting for artsd
* frequency spectrum view of server-sided FFT module
* cross-desktop-project pair-programming experience ;)
