libxcf 0.1 released

Hi all,

recently I worked on a littly library to load the native GIMP file format
called XCF. The library supports:

. RGB and RGBA images
. multiple layers
. layer offsets
. different layer sizes
. layer opacity
. alpha transparency
. layer modes (currently only "normal" and "multiply")

There is a little test program included which can just display XCF images.
The second method (and recommended method) is to use the included patch
against gdk-pixbuf 0.9.0. This enables gdk-pixbuf to read XCF images. Why
is this useful? Well, take a look at the screenshots on the homepage and
see Nautilus and Eye of Gnome showing XCF images nicely.

Oh, of course it's released under the GPL and is an alpha release which is
totally buggy, missing a lot of useful features and erases your harddisk
completely. So have fun!

Regards,

   Jens
