gnome-core and gnome-applets 1.1.1 "Beantown" released

Hello,

A new and improved * * * DEVELOPMENT * * * release of gnome-core and
gnome-applets are now available. These are meant for advanced users
and developers, as there may be problems with building and using these
packages. But hopefully not :)

This release marks the beginning of the freeze for 1.2, so there shouldn't
be any new features after this release.

About gnome-core:
gnome-core contains the GNOME session manager, terminal
emulator, help browser, panel, and some applets.

About gnome-applets:
gnome-applets contains many applets for the GNOME panel.

Availability:

        * wanda now resizes (George)

        * gnome-session now can have a splash screen. You can disable this

a process was launched with --start-factory-server)
You might want to update your panel launchers to
use these flags. (John Harper, Jacob)

        * some gnome-terminal crashes were fixed (Michael Zucchi)

        * gnome-help-browser had some compile warnings cleaned up

        * about 550 lines of ChangeLog from the panel. I'll list some
cool things here, you can go read panel/ChangeLog for

                - try pressing menu+r
                - backwards compatability fixes (George)
                - Other cleanups (George, Jacob)
                - the status dock works with KDE apps (George)

        * gnome-about has some links to GNOME web pages (Jacob)
