Ang: Most popular switch devices

David,

Please consider seriously to include support for a usb game device - the fire buttons 1 and 2 - if at all possible!

There are special popular connectors for switch input using this interface, in particular JoyCable and JoyBox, marketed by numerous AT vendors in both Europe and North America (at least), but any cheap off-the-shelf game device could be used - if necessary with some soldering to allow for the connection of external custom switches.

The advantage with this is that you use a popular standard interface not interfering with ordinary keyboard and mouse input.

Hi all,

We are working on a scanning module for Caribou. At the moment our idea
is to support switch devices that simulate mouse buttons and keyboard
keys. In the roadmap of Caribou [0] there is a mention to "an official
switch device", which is that device?
Thanks for your help.

David.
