Guadalinfo accesible

Hi !

Today I've found that the Consortium Fernando de los Rios for the
Knowledge and Information Society [1], supported by the Regional
Government of Andalusia in Spain, has awarded some contracts to some
local companies for working on a11y (mainly Orca, OCRFeed and Evince
stuff).

AFAIK, this iniciative by the Consortium hasn't been notified to any of
the projects involved. Though this iniciative is a good thing, I think
that this isn't the best way to start a collaboration, because it can
interfere with the current projects of some people (For example Mukund
Raghothaman GSoC propose or the interest of Javed Shaikh and others for
fixing the bug #309015). So, to reduce the risk of overlapping efforts I
think it is a good idea to share the information I've found on
internet.

I translated the details of what they want to do [2]. I hope this is
useful.

Best regards,
