Mmm, it could even be argued that the feature you want (security when on
the text console too) has nothing to do with X and is rather to have a
daemon that would run in the background, grab the keyboard etc. to get
complete idleness knowledge, and run a VTSWITCH then basically do what
vlock does.

I'm really afraid X people will say "don't care, we only protect the X
session".
