logout problem w ubuntu 7.04 and orca

Hi.

I just booted into ubuntu 7.04 (live) and set up orca how i usually do.
It got to the point where it wanted to log out, so i let it and then
... nothing.
I rebooted and tried to logout my self (ctrl alt backspace?) and the
same thing happened.
I am told that once i have done this, all that is on the screen is a
flashing - in the top left lol.

Could someone tell me what i'm doing wrong? I've done this on 2
machines, with the same results.
