Questions about gnome desktop.

Dear all,
I have fc2 on my system.
I want to upgrade my gnome to version 2.14.
One option is to use yum.
but the problem is I don't have internet connection on to linux.
I am currently connecting to internet using win98.
in this situation
How can I download gnome sources?
What order should be the compilation of the sources?
