Hi Naveen, Bill,

Yes, removing GTK_MODULES is a temporary workaround only for Firefox.
You do not need to do it manually with Firefox CVS HEAD.
We're also trying to port the patch to Firefox 2.0 branch.

Is it a gtk-1.2 build?
Generally, only firefox gtk2 builds support ATK.
You can get night builds from http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/ mozilla.org/firefox/nightly/latest-trunk/ 
It should work.

2) Firefox/Mozilla doesn't like GTK_MODULES settings.
See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312092
You should not set GTK_MODULES.
Anyway, with nightly builds, firefox will strip 'at-bridge' out from GTK_MODULES.
