Re: Java-access-bridge

Hi Bertil,
I'm trying to install java-access-bridge on Fedora core 4. Since it odesn't seem to be happy with the installed java version, I've installed j2sdk1.4.2 from Sun. After doing this, I'm able to run the configure script of java-access-bridge without any problems. However, when I try to compile, i get the following message:

/bin/sh: jar: command not found

Some bright ideas would be very much appreciated.
'jar' should be in the same place as your newly installed 'java'; somewhere like /usr/jdk/j2sdk1.4.2/bin/ or some such - wherever your Sun JVM went... It'd probably be best to put that in your path ahead of the default installed Java.
