Hello,
I have seen several posts about this topic, but have found nothing which
solves my problem.
I have fc3 installed kernel 2.6.10-1.770_FC3spksmp.
When I first installed it, gnopernicus and festival talked just fine
together.
Now after running yum, and updating my system to gnome-speech 0.3.6.1,
festival no longer works with gnome-speech.
I have checked and gnome-speech works with my dectalk 4.6 driver just fine.
The festival server is running already. In fact, i killed it and restarted
it but still no speech.
Is there any thing else I can do to get festival working with gnome-speech?
Alternatively, is there a way to use gconf to set gnopernicus to use the
dectalk speech drivers instead of festival?
TIA,
Don Raikes
