gnopernicus crashes when testing a voice change



Hello,
I just build garnome 2.8.0.3 on my fedora core 2 system.
This version of garnome includes gnopernicus 0.9.16 and gnome-speech 0.3.5.
I have the fonix DECtalk tts version 4.61 installed and working on the
system as well.


Once I had completed the install of garnome, I ran test-speech from the
new build, and was able to use the DECtalk voices just fine.
I started gnome and brought gnopernicus up without a problem.

When I went into gnopernicus preferences/speech/voices dialog and changed
some of the voice settings such as speech rate, and clicked OK, it went
back to the speech dialog fine. When I clicked the test button,
gnopernicus crashes.

This has happened with both the festival voices and the dectalk voices.
