Hi all,
I have been trying to install gnome 2.4 onto redhat
advanced server 3 using the fedora rpms.
I think I have all the necessary rpms, however I am
having some dependency problems with perl.
When I try to install the rpms, I get a message
saying it needs package perl-5.8.1-92, but when I try to install that package,
it says it needs perl-5.8.0-88.
I built the perl-5.8.0-88 package from the RHAS3
SRPM, and installed the 6 rpms it created.
I went back to install the perl-5.8.1-92 package,
but no good. it still says it needs perl-5.8.0-88 package.
Where do I go from here?
