Hello, Tom.
If gnome is your default desktop for x-windows
simply typing startx will launch x-windows with gnome.
This assumes you have x-windows installed,
properly configured, and Gnome is your default desktop
environment.
As for gnopernicus this needs more explanation as
much of this is not totally documented at this time.
Assuming gnopernicus is installed with all the
dependancies you'll first need to enter this gconf key in at the shell prompt
for every user which you plan to enable gnome accessibility for:
gconftool-2 --type bool --set
/desktop/gnome/interface/accessibility true
Once the gnconf key is set you should startx and
after x is loaded do an alt-f2 for run, type gnopernicus, and press enter. If
all is well gnopernicus should start and say welcome to
gnopernicus.
As for your braille display you need to grab the
latest brltty braille api, get gnopernicus 0.7.1, and compile, configure,
and set gnopernicus up for the braille display support.
I'm no expirt on setting up braille display
support in gnopernicus, but I know there others on the list that can help you
more specifically with the display.
Hth.
