Hi, Hank.
You probably will want to use yasr to read the installs during rpm installs.
Yasr can be run with in gnome terminal so you never have to leave gnome to
install packages.
Unfortunately, gnome-rpm hasn't been ported to gnome 2, and until it gets
updated we are looking at the command line still.
