Hi, Luke.
I've not tried freetts on anything lower than 1.2 ghz, but I imagine 850 is
plenty enough to run it.
The best advice I can give is try it and see how it goes. We are all pretty
much new to this technology, and one of the purposes of this list is to
have people test the software on various systems, and report back on what
worked and didn't.
In short my experience has been with testing gnopernicus that the more power
you have in a cpu the better responce is, and the greater the speed between
gnopernicus and gnome.
