gnopernicus

I have a great deal of interest in the gnome accessibility project, but in
particular for gnopernicus. I've looked at the webpages, but haven't
really found much information beyond the fact that it is being developed,
and is supposed to be released in the fall. I'm wondering, can someone
give me mor information on it such as  How far along it is, how stable it
is, or will be, how useable it is or will  be.

I'm also wondering if it is  open for beta testing, and if so, how useable
it would be for someone who is totally blind to try and work with it.
