Michael,

I have some questions about the ATK patch:

1) What is the effect of changing of changing g_type_class_peek() to 
g_type_class_ref()?

2) The calls to g_type_class_unref() seem to be added to after the return calls 
and so would not be called.

3) If the chaning of g_type_class_peek() to g_type_class_ref() is a good idea 
should it be done for all functions in this file which call g_type_class_peek()
