Re: [g-a-devel] Accerciser problem

Hi!

Hey!

I'm having problems to run accerciser into jhbuild.

You're not the one, Mario Sánchez reported to me another problem with a probably related issue, so,

The problem:

"Traceback (most recent call last):
 File "/usr/bin/accerciser", line 50, in <module>
   accerciser.main()
 File "/opt/gnome/lib/python2.7/site-packages/accerciser/__init__.py", line 34, in main
   from accerciser import Main
 File "/opt/gnome/lib/python2.7/site-packages/accerciser/accerciser.py", line 19, in <module>
   from gi.repository import Wnck as wnck
 File "/opt/gnome/lib/python2.7/site-packages/gi/importer.py", line 76, in load_module
   dynamic_module._load()
 File "/opt/gnome/lib/python2.7/site-packages/gi/module.py", line 222, in _load
   version)
 File "/opt/gnome/lib/python2.7/site-packages/gi/module.py", line 90, in __init__
   repository.require(namespace, version)
gi.RepositoryError: Requiring namespace 'Gtk' version '2.0', but '3.0' is already loaded"

I have recompiled accerciser (jhbuild build -afc accerciser) and gtk+ (jhbuild build -afc gtk+) packages but I have got the same problem.

Any idea? Thanks.

Just an appointment, IMHO, using the '-f' option isn't recommend unless you're completely sure what you're doing and which dependencies are really needed for to build something.

This morning I received an email from Joanie and API, saying that I forgot to add the gtk+ dependency in the moduleset.

I'm using a Fedora 15, jhbuild from master and the gnome-3.2 moduleset. It works for me, but, I have all the gnome-3.2 suite in my jhbuild environment, so, maybe I overlooked some another  'hard-dependency' :S

AFAIK, Accerciser needs to have up-to-date:
- glib
- pygobject
- gtk+
- pyatspi2

Let me know if you find something strange there!

Cheers!
