Hi again, Sorry to keep bothering you all, but I wonder if anyone could clarify for me whether mouse wheel scroll speed is currently considered an accessibility issue? I have checked around gnome.org and nearby forums, but can't find any mention of it past 2003. I know it's not a big issue for most people, but it is for me and a number of other rsi sufferers (scrolling a page three lines at a time is a painfully repetitive motion), and if this is the wrong place to be asking, I'd really appreciate someone letting me know, so I can take my search elsewhere. If it wasn't for my injuries, I'd delve into the code myself and see what, if anything, I could figure out, but I've been off work for several years now and I was never a real programmer to start with (web development in php doesn't count, I know that) many thanks, -mat brown [ http://moblog.co.uk/blog/mat ] |
