Michael,
I have not had a chance to try this yet but I have been looking at code.
Except for GtkPaned, all other calls to atk_value_set_current_value() should
call gtk_adjustment_set_value() in gail_adjustment_set_current_value(). An
iniital look at gtk_adjustment_set_value() suggests that it clamps the value.
