Sorry, I got the accessibility mailing list address wrong in my first
sending. So please ignore my previous mail if you are replying or ignore
the address (otherwise you would get an annoying bounce too:)

Hi,
Gweather applet has an image that is derived from XPM data (ie. pixbuf
). This image pictorially represents the weather conditions such as
rainy, cloudy, fog ...
The colors for this image are hardcoded in the XPM data. Suppose if the
user wants to set themes then this image doesn't obey the underlined
theme. So the visually impaired users cann't be provided with the
relevant information.
The possible solution could be:
Setting accessible name/description to the image which could describe it
as "It's Raining", "Sunny day", ... In this case atleast the user can
get the relevant information through this name/description.
Pls let me know if there is a much better way to do this.
Thanks,
Pasupathi
.
