pkg-config question

If I do:

   pkg-config --cflags libgnomecanvas-2.0

Should I expect to see "-I $prefix/include/libart-2.0" in the output, since
libgnomecanvas header files include libart header files?

If so, then how do I set that up correctly in the libgnomecanvas-2.0.pc
file?
