It stands for Window Navigator Construction Kit.  It's pronounced
however you think it should be pronounced.  If we have problems in the
future of people not agreeing on how to pronounce it, we can ship it
with an audio-clip of Havoc saying "My name is Havoc Pennington and I
pronounce libwnck, libwnck."
