When you start the control center, you see the most common tasks that
people perform with the control center on the top (3 lines, plain
HTML), then on the bottom, you see an icon listing of the tools
available or the sub-tasks available.
This is from the top of my head, as I dont have whistler on my
desktop:
Add a User
Configure Internet
Add a Printer
ICON ICON ICON
CAPPLET1 CAPPLET2 SYSTEM_SETTINGS
ICON ICON ICON
CAPPLET3 CAPPLET4 DEVICE_DRIVERS
You can select one of the tree tasks above, and that will launch the
proper tool with a set of defaults. Or you can just pick the tool
from list. NOw, if you go into a "subdirectory", say `Internet
stuff', then the list changes to be contextual to the most common
things people do with the internet settings:
Setup dialup
Set up local networking
ICON ICON ICON
DNS_CAPPLET LDAP_CONFIGURATION NETWORK_SETTINGS
ICON ICON
DHCP_MANAGER PPP_CONFIG
You get the idea?
