Ok, I was asked this question once again, so here's the answer once again:
a) Check out vicious-build-scripts module from CVS, read the README in it
and install it.
b) In your shell, source in the ~/bin/gnome-head file
(`. ~/bin/gnome-head' or `source ~/bin/gnome-head')
c) Run `CVSUSER=username bootstrap.sh' to bootstrap the stuff. You only need
to run this once. It'll setup a /gnome/head directory, download autoconf,
pkg-config and everything and install it there.
To use anoncvs, leave off the `CVSUSER=username', it defaults to anoncvs.
d) Type rebuild.sh
This is explained in more detail in the README file in vicious-build-scripts.
