BTW, why would one use bonobo-conf to read old .ini style files for backwards
compatibility.  I have all the code for reading it with gnome_config.  I see
no reason to change it.  (That's another reason why gnome_config should stay
for now).  If it's a new monicker that would mean I'd have to go write a
whole bunch of code just to replace code that is going away very soon anyway.

Though yes this is an actual use for it.

However note that if the author doesn't use GConf that means that a sysadmin
will have a very hellish time trying to do anything with the configuration
system.  We don't want to end up in a state where each app uses a different
monicker.  That's worse then we are right now.
