idle gnome 1.4 session dies

On a RedHat 7.2 system, it seems that after a gnome session is left idle (over night/over a weekend) that the session dies. Below is the output from the xsession error log. Any help with this error would be appreciated.

Also a few minutes after the session dies, I sometimes see this in the /var/log/messages file:
