[gnet] project dead?

It seems gnetlibrary project is pretty dead.
gnetlibrary still has synchronous library calls when gnetlibrary is
supposed to work with the glib main loop thus removing any benefit of
the library.

Why not merge with:
http://ignore-your.tv/software/libgnetwork/
Having to gnome libraries to do the same is a lost of resources.
