[gnet] (no subject)

I decided to upgrade to the new Edonkey 0.50.1 command line client and the version 0.6.0 of the ed2k-gtk-gui but have run into problems. The new command line client works fine when I run it by itself but I cannot get the new new GUI to work due to the fact that I cannot (for some reason) upgrade to the required gnet 2.0.x version.

I have tried to install both the 2.0.0 and the 2.0.4 version of gnet but get the same error as is shown below. Gnet 1.1.9 installs fine on my system and therefore I was able to install and run the 0.5.0 GUI under the old version of the core. Any help on getting me up and running with the new version of the GUI would be much appreciated on account that the new core kicks ass over the old one. Has anyone experienced similar problems with upgrading their version of edonkey and to gnet 2.0.x?

I am running OpenLinux eDesktop kernal version 2.2.14. When running "configure --enable-glib2" everything seems fine. Here is the error I get when running make just before it craps out. Is my kernal to old?

Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions anyone can provide. I miss the GUI.
