[gmime-devel] should we ship test data in the gmime released tarball?

Hi GMIME folks --

i just noticed that several pieces of test data are in the git repo but
aren't in the tarball shipped at
https://download.gnome.org/sources/gmime/2.6. The diff is something like:

 tests/data/mbox/input/substring.mbox | 70 --
 tests/data/mbox/output/substring.mbox | 30 -
 tests/data/pgp/gmime.gpg.pub | 30 -
 tests/data/pgp/gmime.gpg.sec | 33 -
 tests/data/pgpmime/gmime.gpg.pub | 30 -
 tests/data/pgpmime/gmime.gpg.sec | 33 -
 tests/empty0.msg | 11 -
 tests/empty1.msg | 11 -
 tests/empty2.msg | 12 -
 tests/message-partial.1 | 2055 ---------------------------------
 tests/message-partial.2               |  Bin 4384 -> 0 bytes
 tests/rfc2060.msg | 74 --
 12 files changed, 2389 deletions(-)

As a result, some of the tests (tests/test-pgp.c and
tests/test-pgpmime.c are the ones i've noticed) don't get run when doing
"make check" from the tarball.

Is there a reason to keep them out of the tarball, or can we ship them?
