[gmime-devel] decoding utf8 header

Hi,

Using gmime-2.4.24 to decode following header generates invalid utf8
strings.

Subject: Re: [Ticket#2011100110000841]
=?UTF-8?Q?=D0=B4=D0=BE=D1=81=D1=82=D1=83=D0=BF=20?=
 =?UTF-8?Q?=D0=B2=20?= =?UTF-8?Q?=D0=BF=D0=B0=D0=BD=D0=B5=D0=BB=D1=8C=20?=
 =?UTF-8?Q?=D0=BF=D0=BE=D1=81=D0=BB=D0=B5=20?=
=?UTF-8?Q?=D1=81=D0=BC=D0=B5=D0=BD=D1=8B=20?=ip-=?UTF-8?Q?=D0=B0=D0=B4=D1=80=D0=B5=D1=81=D0=B0?=

I noticed some earlier threads regarding this. Can I assume this is
fixed in later versions? Is there a known work-around - since I can not
expect my downstream users to upgrade to 2.6 which is not yet in
debian/ubuntu afaik.
