gnome_program_init() again

Hi everybody,

I was most agrieved to recognise that my patch didn't clear the matter,
at least not on a Ubuntu Breezy AMD64 system.

I checked how conGLOMerate did it and applied their gnome_program_init()
call to glom-0.9.0 - it now works fine. Could somebody double-check it
on a i386 or maybe on another distribution?
