*** Glom
With Glom you can design table definitions and the relationships between
them, plus arrange the fields on the screen. You can edit and search the
data in those tables, and specify field values in terms of other fields.
It's as easy as it should be.
Glom uses the PostgreSQL database backend but it can not edit databases
that it did not create, because it uses only a simple subset of Postgres
functionality.

Glom is written in C++, with gtkmm, Bakery, and libgdamm. It uses
Python for calculated fields, with help from pygtk.

glom 0.8.32 - changes since 0.8.29:
* Dates: Allow parsing of, for instance, 11/5/1973 instead of
just 11/05/1973.
* Tables:
- Prevent crash when removing a table.
- Update the Tables menu when adding tables.
* Accept a filename on the command line.
* Field Formatting: Choices from related tables: This was
broken in 0.8.29.
* Examples:
- Initial Dialog: Added Open Examples button. The examples
are now installed.
- Add Save As button to the warning about read-only
examples.
