Re: [glade--]how to install glademm on RHL9

Hi Christof,

According to your advice, I got

gtkmm2-devel-2.2.8-0.fdr.3.1.i386.rpm
libsigc++-devel-1.0.4-fr1.i386.rpm

When I tried to install "gtkmm2-devel-2.2.8-0.fdr.3.1.i386.rpm"
I got the following message.

error : Failed dependencies:
        gtkmm2 = 0:2.2.8-0.fdr.3.1 is needed by gtkmm2-devel-2.2.8-0.fdr.3.1

which means I need gtkmm2 to install "gtkmm2-devel-2.2.8-0.fdr.3.1.i386.rpm".

But when I tried to compile "gtkmm2-2.2.8-0.fdr.3.1.src.rpm", I got the
following error message.

nana:/home/susumu/SRC# rpmbuild --rebuild gtkmm2-2.2.8-0.fdr.3.1.src.rpm

Perhaps you should add the directory containing `sigc++-1.2.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'sigc++-1.2' found

configure: error: Library requirements (sigc++-1.2 >= 1.2.0 glib-2.0 >= 2.2.0 gobject-2.0 >= 2.2.0 gmodule-2.0 >= 2.2.0) not met; consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

even though I already installed "libsigc++-1.2.5".

I got completely lost(;_;)
What should I do first?
