GTK and Glade do not deal with video directly.
Instead you should use a media library (such as libav) or a media
framework (such as GStreamer), and render the video into a GTK or GDK
window.

See a tutorial [1] for how to do it with GStreamer. From what i can see
there, the widget that video is drawn on in that tutorial is
GtkDrawingArea [2].
