[Glade-users] libglade and gtkbuilder

Hello,

I stumbled across this page:

which implies that while libglade is used a lot, (the hypothesis is that)
gtkbuilder will probably overtake it.

Since I'm writing a new application using glade-3 which might run into
the dozens of thousands of lines, how does this affect me? Will my
*.glade files still be usable if I want to switch to gtkbuilder? Will
glade-3 be able to load a libglade format and then be able to save in
the gtkbuilder XML format?

Yes glade trunk currently does just that, except for the fact we still have
no GtkMenu or GtkUIManager support in gtkbuilder format.

But this does also effect you in as much as what widgets you will
be available to you, the sooner you move to builder format then probably
the better (warning: liststore in trunk is a work in progress, the rest is
pretty stable).

Cheers,
