Its not a bug, it just works in a really unintuitive way.

IMO you should be able to select an object as user data,
and you should be able to toggle whether the connection
will be made with the G_SIGNAL_SWAPPED flag as a separate
signal option.

Feel free to file this as an enhancement to glade, might
also be a good idea to bring it up wrt the builder
patches: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=172535
