Hi,

Is it possible to make the current version of Glade call
gtk_widget_set_name() with string in the Name property of a widget? If
it is, how is this done. If not, could someone suggest an alternative
method of identifying a widget inside a single GtkContainer without
assuming anything about their orientation or ordering?

If you're using the generated C code, select the "Set Widget Name"
option in the project options, on the "C Options" tab.

That's what I was looking for! My apologies. I assumed it would be a per
widget switch. Thanks!

If you're using libglade, I think it sets the name already.
