I don't think there's anything in Gtk2 that will help you.
There are a few report generators around.

I used to use Papyrus:
http://papyrus.treshna.com/

Now I develop my own:
http://entropy.homelinux.org/axis_not_evil/ ( hit the 'Reports' link ).

Mine is written in Perl, Papyrus is written in C.
