I am attempting to port a Linux app I developed to Windows (using MSVC =
6.0 on WinXP) which uses libglade. I'm using the =
gtk-win32-devel-2.4-rc24 GTK/Glade/Glib installer to provide all the =
necessary libraries. =20
I'm able to successfully build the executable (I link with =
libglade-2.0.dll.a) but when I run it I get an "First-Chance Exception: =
0xC00000005 Access Violation" and the program dies before it even gets =
to any visible code. I tried making a simple project (generated by =
glade) which builds and runs fine if I just use the standard output. =
However, when I modify it so that it includes libglade-2.0.dll.a and try =
to load the simple interface from the xml I get the same error. =20
Does anyone have an example of a working libglade project for MSVC or =
has anyone seen this problem? I've probably done something stupid with =
my includes/library setup but I can't figure it out.
