Take a look at the documentation for GtkAdjustment. You'll have to connect
to the "value_changed" signal emitted by the GtkAdjustment used by the
GtkHScale. I am not sure how you do this in Glade. You may need to write
some code to set up the signal handler properly.

hi, can someone please tell me how can I have a horizontal
scale widget that will emmit a signal each time the value is
changed? the gtk tutorial says something about the "change_value"
signal but in glade I couldn't find it in the signals list.
anyone can help?
