[Glade-devel] gettext required to compile

Hello,

I just downloaded Glade and compiled and got a compilation error while
running make because the GMSGFMT variable was not set. After googling
I found this:

And it turned out that it was the same problem so all I had to do was
to install gettext. But just thinking, shouldn't this have been
checked some how by ./configure and the dependency on gettext should
have been reported there?
