Hi,

If you need an immediate solution just use glade 2.x series. I was
working on fixing the problem but I stopped after realising I would have
to use the LIBGLADE_INTEGRATION branch. If you want to look into it,
checkout the LIBGLADE_INTEGRATION branch and see how you go.

Noone answered. I tried myself :) I can make the notebook behave just
like one in glade-2 and save in glade-2 format. But i can't make it
read glade-2 format properly. When it rebuilds the widget tree, it
creates (and attachs) all widget first, applies packing properties
later. So when packing properties are applied, all tab pages and tab
labels are created as tab pages (GladeSupportedChild::add doesn't know
anything about packing properties). Any ideas to solve this?

Hi,
glade3 uses property tab-label to set notebook tab labels. Older glade
files use a <child> node with pack option 'tab'. The result is opening
old .glade files with glade3 produces double tabs and tabs don't have
correct label. Is anyone working on this or is there anyway to convert
old glade files to be able to use with glade3?
