I follow what you preconise.
I install to /usr/local the libgit2 v0.20.0 using these commands
cmake .. -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr/local
sudo cmake --build . --target install
after that I relaunch ./configure of libgit2-glib-0.0.10 from fresh
tar xvf libgit2-glib-0.0.10.tar
Sorry but I have the same error
