I am having a problem with some pixels being a different color when I
use text in the GIMP. Do I need to post an example somewhere else with a
link? Seems I remember I should not send attachments to this list. I
think I'm using 2.8. My husband is the geek, but I do a lot of simple
things with GIMP and I love it. Judy Wilson

I followed your tutorial about creating a circular image and I was wondering how you could blur the circular 
edge of the image you created using the technique outline.

You may find desaturating the layer afterwards helps; it's usually to
do with sub-pixel positioning on LCD screens.
